If you think shock cannot change the energy, well guess again.  It’s another one of those emotions that spatter our energy fields.  Sitting in a small group of friends, we were told about a group of women, calling themselves The Blank Check Babes.  My friend is one of the gang and I sat listening to their purpose.  ”We go to supper once a month and decide what cause we want to donate to at that time.”  They hope to collect $30.00 from each gal, but there are times when they may donate less and other times when they donate more.  One person is chosen to take the checks to the designated account.  Next month they move onto a new cause.

That night she told us that the last supper they had together the donation was to a family whose 2 year old had been mauled by the family dog.  She may not have said anything, but I did ask for an example.  As she told the story from the newspaper the energy at the table changed very quickly.  The looks of shock were seen on each of our faces, as everyone there had a dog of size.

My husband used his credit card to pay the tab and as my friends put money on the middle of the table to pay their share, we always take the tab and divide it by the number of gals present, he asked that The Blank Check Babe representative, take the cash and give it to the little boy’s family account.

Once again the energy changed.  Our faces brightened up and our evening went on with our energy back in check.

You may not think about goats very often, but the subject has just come up 3 times in a matter of a few days, so I thought it best to address it.

A few nights ago my husband and I were given a free night at the Zermatt Resort in Midway, UT.  After seeing a small hand written sign asking that we not feed the goats (frankly there were no goats near the sign), we went to our room.  Looking out at the fabulous surroundings, we saw the goats.  They were in what appeared to be a temporary fence with a small shelter.  The goats were eating away which is what goats do.  These particular goats belong to a business that rents them out to places that need a fire break.  It is dry at the resort, so they were doing their job of eating every blade of dry grass and weeds.  But did you know that the seeds that they ingest do not reseed once they are expelled from their bodies?  Unlike cows, goats and sheep create the most perfect manure!

Goats are also the most eaten meat in the world!  After discussing all of this with a stranger, who is no longer a stranger, she asked that if we come by any other `goat info,’ she would like to hear about it.  So if you know more, leave a comment.

A few years ago we replaced our fiberglass shower with tile.  The tile has an appearance of stone, and therefore has different shades of color.  This mottled look allows pictures to show up out of nowhere!   When I’m in the shower I let very warm water run down my back as I meditate and soften my eyes.  During this process every day it is like I have new pictures hanging on the wall.  It’s a little like watching clouds.

You can look at tiles anywhere, just allow your eyes to get a little out of focus.

Have you seen angels hanging around lately?  A bright light, out of the corner of your eye, the same numbers keep showing up?  This a sign that an angel is near.  Ancestors may blink electrical lights or they also like to mess with your television.    They come to love you and they are trying to get your attention to let you know.  Ever feel a warmth on your shoulders or a brush on your cheek?  Yep, that’s them!

Don’t be concerned about who has come, know that they are here to love you.

There is no higher vibration, so smile and know that you are loved.

I was listening to Doreen Virtue who has mentioned that when she is in a group of light workers very few of them have on a watch.  Wearing a watch reminds us that we need to stay on time and that inside we feel there is never enough time.  The law of attraction then responds with, no time left.  So it makes sense, whether we have done it deliberately or not, that doing something as simple as removing our watches is a message that we feel we do have enough time.  When the universe responds it will give us more.

It is really as simple as it sounds.  It must be, as I’m now back blogging regularly.

I am grateful to the Universe for the gift of time.

Hot flashes are for everyone!  Yes, both sexes enjoy the end of this sweaty change in their lives.  The culprits are caffeine, chocolate, and alcohol as you may have guessed.  Herbs such as black cohash, dong quai and chaste berry are very helpful.   Yoga, meditation, and massage are fun and helpful.  Acupuncture and acupressure can nip it in the bud.  Wearing cotton is better then covering yourself in a synthetic fabric, it’s that breathing thing.  Realize that the hot flashes are not harming you, they are just extremely uncomfortable and inconvenient…ok, and maybe a little embarrassing.  I will admit, it is hard to enjoy this valuable time in our lives.  All the talk about enjoying the changes and taking your time to readjust and get to know your new self….well, I don’t know about you but all I can focus on is the heat…which is why it is such a major problem in my life..law of attraction.

Hot flashes make it difficult to enjoy this dominant change in our lives, but worse case scenario is that you will live all the way through it.

I have just returned from the movie.  I wanted to go to a new theater in my area and voluntarily chose to go to EAT PRAY LOVE.  I like a chick-flick as much as the next woman, but they seem to be `all the same’ lately.  However, I knew the book/movie would come up in conversation and I like to be able to have an opinion on popular movies.  So I went knowing the soft music would lull me to sleep, and not eating the popcorn would give me nothing to do with my hands, but I would stay to the end because that’s what I do.

First of all let me say that I wished I’d had a pen and paper with me.  The pre movie commercials were terrific!  Many aimed at a teenage population, who ought to have started school today.  Where was I when they changed all that?  Anyway, the movie.  Perhaps this movie wouldn’t have been a hit with me if it had come on 5 years ago.  I believe that timing is everything, and this show is for 2010.  A time when people want to evolve, but don’t know into what.

The music was great and let me tell you all about the movie…just kidding, but I really think the husband was the funnest, and sometime it would be great if the main character really risked it all and just went for the fun.

Several years ago we had our fiberglass shower replaced with tile.  The tiles are mottled and appear to be almost 3 dimensional.  As the very warm water runs down my back each day, I try to meditate looking at one particular tile.  As my eyes soften I see pictures in the tile.  It’s a bit like watching clouds and realizing that each of them are a floating piece of art.  The next day when I look at the same tile, I can see something different again.

Sometimes the less you try to see, the greater the picture.

Is this a BEST day for you?  You know that day.  The day that is somehow separate from all the others.  The day that stands out and makes it clear, that today is the BEST day.

You will hopefully have many in your life, but they are different from most other days.  It is a day when the planets have maybe lined up just perfectly.  Or perhaps God has bestowed a special blessing onto you.  You feel it in your soul, and your spirit rises up to meet it.  Before you know it, nothing can go wrong. Only happiness, accomplishment and smiles happen today.

Today is my best day.  It has been a while since I have felt like this, but I remember the feeling of realizing my first best day.  This is yet another.  How many will you get?  Will you be able to recognize each one?  They are strong and powerful.  And you can clearly tell that the day is better.

Notice, appreciate, love this day.
